QDC is a national builder experiencing exciting growth, with a strong pipeline of Industrial and Commercial projects across Western Australia and interstate. As we continue to expand, we are seeking talented professionals to create a new project team dedicated to delivering excellence.

We are looking for a Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of our projects and working closely with our subcontractors ensuring projects are delivered safely on time, and within budget.

What Managing a QDC Site Looks Like:

  • Ensuring safe supervision of all onsite construction activities across our D&C projects
  • Leading regular toolbox talks, site inductions, daily site checks and monitoring high risk works
  • Assist with input to design for constructability and project innovation
  • Coordinate resourcing and scheduling of multi-disciplinary subcontractors at all stages of the project, comfortable managing multiple work fronts simultaneously
  • Take full ownership of large-scale projects, managing and directing site supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Collaborate closely with the project team while also working independently to delegate and direct site activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery
  • Adaptable to new software and site management applications (Procore)
  • Active problem-solving and creative solutions orientation is essential
  • Promote strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and the wider project team
What You Need To Excel In The Role
  • Site Manager: Minimum 7+ years of experience, with a solid trade or engineering background
  • Experience managing D&C projects, preferably in an industrial and commercial sector – value up to $80M+
  • Knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Safety Standards
  • Safety leadership focusing on behaviours and buy-in from all
  • Strong expertise in civil, concrete, and structural works
  • A problem-solver who leads and influences teams, and delivers high-quality projects
  • Willingness to adapt and challenge the status quo
  • Open/willing to work on regional projects
