Perth-Based Construction Manager / 2IC Project Manager (Remote Mine Site Construction)

2/1 roster (Initially DIDO ex Perth)

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Manager / 2IC Project Manager for multiple NPI construction projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and driven professional to join our growing team, contributing to the successful delivery of key projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Lead and manage site crews, fostering a collaborative, safe, and efficient work environment.

Coordinate project timelines, resources, and materials to ensure project milestones are met.

Interface with clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns to ensure client satisfaction.

Implement and manage health, safety, and environmental procedures on-site.

Monitor and report on financial performance, ensuring cost-effective project delivery.

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid Schedule 26 accreditation.
  • Proven experience in supervisory roles within a mine site environment.
  • Strong understanding of civil and building principles.
  • Financially literate with the ability to manage budgets and control costs.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to manage teams, promote a positive and productive work culture on site, and resolve issues as they arise.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Experience in mine camp construction.
