About the role

Protech Cairns is recruiting for a skilled and experienced Project Support Officers. In this role, you will be an integral part of the team, working closely with various departments to obtain quotes, establish and maintain project control registers and provide administrative support.

Key Duties

  • Support Project Managers by providing administrative support for the project.
  • Ensure deadlines are met, maintain quality standards, and provide guidance on processes and tasks
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintaining an internal database and data entry
  • Answering and directing phone calls
  • Responding to emails and other forms of communication
  • Processing invoices, expense reports, and reimbursements
  • Complete Records Management tasks such as purchase requisitions

**Skills & Attributes

Essential:**

  • Proficient using Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Professional customer service skills
  • High attention to detail & Strong data entry skills
  • Sound oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective time and workload management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Candidate must be an Australian Citizen

Desirable:

  • Diploma in Business or relevant experience working in an administrative/ project support role
  • Previous experience using IFS systems or equivalent: EG or SAP
