About the Role

We're searching for a Production Manager to lead our factory team at our Brendale facility. Some key responsibilities and tasks for this role are:

  • Maintain a productive and safe factory,
  • Plan and prioritise production and drafting schedules,
  • Complete works within set timeframes,
  • Read and interpret plans and project scopes,
  • Maintain a high level of quality control,
  • Procurement of materials and fittings for joinery manufacturing
  • Stock management within the factory,
  • Approve timesheets and leave requests,
  • Performance management of factory-based employees, and
  • Schedule machinery repairs and maintenance.

This is a full-time permanent role and salary will be consummate with skills and experience.

About You

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of maturity and proactive work habits to the role. Here's what we're looking for:

  • A friendly, positive, and can-do attitude,
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive workplace culture,
  • A Cert III in Cabinet Making, Shopfitting and/or Carpentry,
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in similar role,
  • Previous experience managing staff and procurement,
  • Ability to work autonomously, unsupervised and to set timeframes,
  • Strive for, and achieve, the highest quality standards, and
  • Adherence to all HSE guidelines.
