Your Role

Based at our newly relocated Brendale site, the Warehouse & Dispatch Manager will play a key role in overseeing warehouse operations and logistics activities to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient delivery of customer orders.

You'll lead a small operational team to manage daily warehouse functions, maintain inventory integrity, and uphold Big River Group's commitment to safety, efficiency, and service excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate and supervise warehouse and logistics staff to achieve daily operational targets.
  • Oversee receipt, storage, and dispatch processes with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Maintain stock control through regular cycle counts and reconciliation.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS regulations and company safety standards.
  • Manage forklifts and other material-handling equipment to ensure reliability and safe operation.
  • Work closely with internal teams to optimise warehouse performance and resolve dispatch issues.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and customer service.

What You'll Bring

  • Valid forklift licence (mandatory).
  • HR licence (advantageous but not essential).
  • Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, or dispatch supervision.
  • Strong understanding of WHS compliance and safe work practices.
  • High level of organisation, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and develop a small operational team.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems and related software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
