About the role

Sunnyday Carers' is seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Sydney, NSW. As a contract role, this position will play a vital part in expanding our reach and securing new contracts within the local community. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities that align with our mission and values.

Candidates must be Australian citizens to be eligible for this position.

What you'll be doing

  1. Proactively identifying and qualifying new lead generation opportunities
  2. Developing and executing effective sales strategies to win new clients
  3. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers
  4. Preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations
  5. Negotiating and finalizing new contracts
  6. Providing regular progress reports and performance updates
  7. Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure seamless client onboarding

What we're looking for

  1. Proven track record of success in a business development or sales role, preferably within the sales industry
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders
  3. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  4. Demonstrated ability to identify and qualify new business opportunities
  5. Experience in delivering high-quality sales presentations and proposals
  6. Familiarity with the new business development landscape
  7. Proactive, self-motivated and results-driven mindset
  8. Expert level knowledge of the NDIS framework and regulations is essential
