About the role

We're hiring
4–5 Site/Construction Managers
to join a leading civil & ground-engineering contractor in Australia. These are hands-on,
boots-on-the-ground
roles delivering complex excavation and retention works across major projects.

What you'll do

  • Lead on-site delivery for deep excavation and temporary works (bulk excavation, shoring, piling, anchoring, shotcrete, basements).
  • Plan staging/programs, coordinate subcontractors, and manage daily site activities.
  • Drive WHS/safety leadership, QA/QC, RFIs/inspections, and temporary works/permits.
  • Track cost and progress; report clearly to project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineers to resolve design and constructability issues.

Must-have qualifications & experience

  • Bachelor's degree
    in a
    relevant engineering or construction discipline
    (required).
  • Under 45 years of age
    at time of visa application (visa eligibility).
  • 6–10+ years' site-based civil experience, with strong exposure to
    bulk excavation, shoring, piling, anchoring, shotcrete, deep basements
    .
  • Strong
    English
    communication and team leadership (required).
