Qualifications & experience

  • Experience in civil construction, with a focus on industrial sheds / factories.
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a supervisory role, leading teams and managing site operations.
  • Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, techniques, and materials.
  • Familiarity with relevant Australian standards, regulations, and codes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Safework NSW Construction Industry Induction [whitecard] or interstate equivalent
  • Current and valid Australian Driver License - minimum C class

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision:

  • Take charge of on-site activities, ensuring that construction operations are carried out smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

Team Management:

  • Lead and supervise a team of civil construction personnel, including subcontractors and laborers.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure that all work meets the specified quality standards, adheres to engineering designs and drawings, and complies with relevant regulations and codes.

Safety Compliance:

  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on-site. Conduct safety briefings, perform hazard assessments, and ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Project Coordination:

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities and ensure smooth project execution.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, progress reports, and safety records.

Resource Management:

  • Efficiently manage resources, including equipment, materials, and labor, to ensure optimal utilization and cost-effectiveness.
