The Opportunity:

National Business Manager (NBM) –Dairy is accountable for the commercial performance, customer partnerships, and strategic growth of the company's powdered milk, infant formula, general health, and aged care nutrition portfolio within the Australian market.

The role will lead customer management in the pharmacy channels, drive profitable sales growth across and support the broader sales team to secure and grow the range across the broader market

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Commercial Leadership

  • Develop and execute the National Sales Strategy for the Milk & Dairy Powders portfolio, aligned to category growth and brand objectives.
  • Deliver Financial KPIs across all domestic channels.
  • Identify new market, product, and format opportunities across pharmacy, grocery, and Health sectors.
  • Provide commercial input into pricing, promotional programs, and trade spend optimisation.

Customer & Channel Management

  • Lead direct account management of pharmacy customers (e.g., Chemist Warehouse, Priceline, API).
  • Negotiate annual business plans (JBPs), trading terms, and promotional calendars to drive category growth
  • Support the broader sales team with selling and managing the range across retail and OTG customers. Ensure a consistent JBP approach for the category across customers.
  • Develop customer-specific activation plans to drive shelf visibility and consumer conversion.

Portfolio & Brand Execution

  • Champion the Nature One Dairy range, ensuring effective range distribution and execution.
  • Partner with Nature One, Marketing, R&D to ensure the right range and pipeline of innovation to meet market needs.
  • Coach and enable the broader sales team to confidently sell and manage the milk powder range across all customer types.
  • Build a strong performance and accountability culture across customer partnerships and internal teams to drive our Diary portfolio.

The successful candidate will have:

Qualifications & Technical Competencies

  • Tertiary Qualified in Business (or similar) or Finance (accounting)
  • Minimum 5–years' FMCG, Nutrition, or Health industry experience.
  • Proven success managing Tier 1 customer relationships within the pharmacy or grocery sectors.
  • Experience in milk powders, infant formula, or nutrition-based categories (preferred).
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and business planning skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functionally and deliver results in a matrix organisation.
