We are a Health and Nutrition company with shop front locations across Western Sydney.

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager/Bookkeeper to join our growing enterprise. This is a part-time position offering flexibility and work-life balance working 20-25 hours a week.

This role offers a flexible schedule with negotiable working days and hours to accommodate work-life balance.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director you will take ownership of our financial operations, ensuring accurate reconciliations, reporting and integration across operational platforms.

What you will be doing

  1. Accounting & Financial Control

  2. Manage day-to-day bookkeeping across all stores and online.

  3. Perform bank, supplier, and payment gateway reconciliations (Shopify, EFTPOS, Afterpay, PayPal).

  4. Process supplier invoices, credits, and purchase orders in Cin7 and Xero.

  5. Match stock receipts with supplier bills and manage landed cost allocation.

  6. Monitor Accounts Payable and Receivable and schedule supplier payments.

  7. Prepare BAS, PAYG, Superannuation, and month-end summaries for the accountant.

  8. Reporting & Analysis

  9. Generate weekly and monthly reports:

  10. Assist in cash-flow forecasting and expense control.

  11. Support management with financial insights to guide inventory and pricing decisions.

  12. Systems & Data Integrity

  13. Maintain clean data flow across Shopify, Cin7, and Xero.

  14. Identify and resolve integration or sync errors.

  15. Collaborate with inventory and warehouse managers to ensure accurate stock valuation.

  16. Help optimise automation and reporting workflows.

  17. Compliance & Administration

  18. Maintain thorough digital documentation for invoices, payments, and credits.

  19. Support EOFY preparation and external audits.

  20. Ensure compliance with GST, Fair Work, and accounting standards.

  21. Liaise with accountants, suppliers, and management on financial queries.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting or bookkeeping (retail or e-commerce environment preferred).

  • Strong working knowledge of Xero, Cin7 Omni (or DEAR), and Shopify integrations.

  • Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).

  • Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy under time pressure.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures

  • Effective communication and customer service skills

  • Australian work authorisation is required for this position.

Preferred (Not Essential)

  • Experience with Shippit, Shopify POS, or inventory management workflows.

  • Familiarity with landed cost accounting and stock valuation.

  • Bookkeeping or CPA qualification (highly regarded).
