About Youth HEAR
Youth HEAR (Holocaust Education And Remembrance) is a youth-led, Australian not-for-profit organisation that empowers young adults to combat hate through Holocaust education, commemoration, and multicultural collaboration. Founded in 2018, we are driven by the belief that "Never Again" is a call to action—one that begins with education and ends in empathy, courage, and upstanding. Youth HEAR works with year olds.
With a network of over 35 volunteers and three part-time staff members, Youth HEAR delivers innovative programs, digital campaigns, immersive experiences, and community events that challenge prejudice, empower young adults to identify and call out hate and antisemitism, and build bridges across differences. As we prepare for our next phase of impact, including national expansion and educational outreach, we're seeking a new Chief Executive Officer to lead Youth HEAR.
The Opportunity
Youth HEAR is seeking a bold, collaborative, and strategic leader to lead the organisation into its next chapter.
This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-impact, young-adult-driven organisation at a pivotal moment in its growth. The incoming CEO will shape Youth HEAR's national expansion, drive program innovation, strengthen our digital and educational footprint, and inspire a diverse community of young leaders and allies.
This role calls for someone who is value-driven, purpose-led, and deeply reflective, capable of navigating complex social environments with empathy and cultural nuance. Someone who brings modern strategic and organisational rigour while honouring the heartfelt legacy and authenticity of Youth HEAR's founding ethos.
The CEO of Youth HEAR will unite young adults, educators, organisational stakeholders, multicultural partners, and donors around shared values and mission-driven impact.
