Role Overview

The Accountant will provide hands-on support to Finance Business Partners and Project Accountants, assisting with month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting and process improvement. This role offers variety and the chance to make an immediate impact during a busy period of change.

About the Person

We're seeking a qualified and adaptable accounting professional who enjoys variety and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You'll have strong technical and systems skills, excellent attention to detail and a collaborative, team-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Month-end processing, reconciliations and reporting
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
  • Supporting project reporting and ad-hoc financial analysis
  • Maintaining financial records and supporting audit and compliance activities
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and process optimisation initiatives

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or related field (CPA/CA not essential)
  • Experience across management accounting and reporting functions
  • Strong systems experience, ideally SAP, Workday or Adapt
  • Advanced Excel skills and analytical ability
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
