Subway Meats & SA Meats are seeking a proactive, analytical, and experienced professional to take on the role of Senior Accountant. This key role will be responsible for overseeing the financial and administrative functions of SA & Subway Meats and blends strategic planning, analytical insight, and organisational management to ensure that all financial and administrative activities align with the organisations' objectives.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this role spans a broad portfolio including the development, implementation and management of the financial functions, IT & office services and human resources.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Wingfield, South Australia.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in managing accounts payable and receivable, and account reconciliation
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and conducting financial analysis
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and other departments
  • Experience in financial software and accounting tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CA certification is a plus
  • At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience
