Work Mode: Hybrid
As Executive Marketing Strategist, you will be leading a team responsible for driving and enhancing the strategies for Megaphone's Growth clients in our e-commerce department who spend between $5000-$10,000 a month on ad spend.
This role reports to the Head of Accounts and will lead a team of 5 Marketing Strategists who look after the client's marketing strategy across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest & LinkedIn.
The five marketing strategists onboard specific clients assigned to them to Megaphone. Individually looking after these clients from strategy, creative creation in Canva & data analysis.
To keep up to date, you will manage 1-2 clients of your own in addition to leading the team.
Day to day
Team management & development
- Managing a team of roughly 5 Senior Marketing Strategists. (Each team member manages roughly 9-15 clients.)
- Upskilling the team.
- Questioning the status quo.
- Fostering strategic development and innovation.
- Auditing meta performance
- Ensuring Megaphone best practice procedures are followed.
Client focus
- Working closely with Megaphone's growing e-commerce clients, ensuring their digital marketing strategy aligns with their goals.
- Ensure that strategies are being implemented and optimised by checking in on these accounts.
Collaboration
- Collaborate with team members to challenge existing strategies and develop improvements.
- You will brainstorm ideas, strategise and work with team members required to be involved. It is important that this is a collaborative approach, rather than you doing it all, in order to facilitate overall development of the team.
- Supporting the team on existing strategies / developing new strategies.
Product enhancement
- Set the standard to follow.
- Teach by sharing, doing, joining meetings and providing feedback.
Sales support
- Along with other members of the team, assist in sales efforts by working with clients whose ad spend exceeds $100,000 (this may be increased or decreased in size) or household brand clients.
Bigger picture
Seasonal Planning
- Plan, strategise and drive the roll out for seasonal promotional periods to maximize performance opportunities for all Megaphone clients.
- All sale days, holidays, down periods etc.
- As well as company strategy
Company Strategy
- Contribute to building and executing the overall company strategy.
Collaboration
- Collaborate with Heads & Leaders to ensure successful strategy implementation.
- Client retention
: Maintain a high level of client retention among those on the designated client list. This figure will be set quarterly. - Team development
: Weekly meetings and strategising with the teams involved.
