Help shape the success of a major underground SMP construction project, working shoulder to shoulder with a real team that delivers results.

As our valued QA Lead, your underground experience and passion for high standards will ensure quality outcomes across this fast-paced brownfields project.

Based at the Prominent Hill Copper Mine, you'll use your attention to detail and technical expertise to drive QA compliance, manage ITPs, and ensure works are executed to spec. You'll work as part of a supportive leadership team that values your voice and experience.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Overseeing QA systems and ensuring all deliverables align with client and M2P standards
  • Managing ITPs, MDRs, and associated documentation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Conducting audits and inspections on SMP scopes in an underground environment
  • Collaborating with supervisors, engineers, and HSE to ensure quality is embedded in the day-to-day
  • Reporting QA performance and raising NCRs or corrective actions as needed

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Previous QA experience on construction or SMP mining projects
  • Underground construction experience
  • Strong knowledge of ITPs, MDRs, and QA documentation systems
  • The ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Experience with brownfields mining projects
  • Relevant QA or engineering qualifications
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving
