Senior Geologist – Global Geosciences (Andes, South America)

We are seeking an experienced
Senior Geologist
to join our team for a fixed-term contract role, with potential for extension, working on projects across the
Andean region of South America
. Based in
Lima, Peru
, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to enhancing orebody knowledge for our South Arm clients.

The purpose of the role is to
advance geological understanding of Andean mineral systems
through the application of technical expertise and innovative solutions. You will play a key role in integrating geological data, improving orebody knowledge, and supporting exploration and mining decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to field-based geological mapping and project reviews.
• Build, interpret, and validate 3D geological models.
• Conduct advanced data analysis, including geostatistics and QA/QC reviews.
• Support geometallurgical studies and integrate outcomes into orebody models.
• Provide technical input into resource evaluations, exploration targeting, and project development.
• Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental standards, as well as local regulations.

About You

• Degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline (postgraduate qualifications desirable).
• 10+ years' professional experience
  in exploration, resource, or mining geology, preferably in the Andes.
• Provide Competent Person (JORC) oversight and sign-off for public disclosures
• Strong understanding of porphyry, IOCG, epithermal, and skarn.
• Proven expertise in geological modelling, data integration, and geostatistics.
• Experience with QA/QC processes and geological databases.
• Proficiency with industry-standard modelling software (Leapfrog, Vulcan, Datamine, Micromine, ArcGIS/QGIS).
• Fluent in English and Spanish
  (spoken and written).
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with ability to mentor and collaborate across diverse teams.
• Willingness to travel and work at remote Andean project sites as required.
• Based in Lima, Peru.
