Junior Electrical Engineer

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to join the team. In this role, you will be working on a 2 and 1 roster, with FIFO opportunities available. Flights, accommodation, and meals will be provided.

In this role, you will:

• Manage and update PIMs to align with project status (Project QA/QC documentation database)
• Interpret and markup electrical drawings to generate accurate termination packs
• Create and coordinate electrical labelling for cables, devices and equipment
• Work closely with QA/QC, commissioning and construction teams
• Assist in tracking and closing out punch items
• Support the hand over process by ensuring all documentation is clear and complete
• Liase with electrical engineers on red-line markups
• Provide backup support to the electrical engineering department

ABOUT YOU

• 2+ years' experience as a graduate or cadet electrical engineer
• Experience on construction mining projects
• Self-motivated with a desire to achieve objectives.
• Good communications and analytical skills.
• Broad theoretical job knowledge.
• An ability to work effectively in, and contribute to the success of, a team of professionals.
• Committed to maintaining our strong safety culture.
• Auto cad experience
• PDF editor experience

The successful candidate will have:

• Tertiary Qualification in electrical or electronics engineering.
• Current Unrestricted Driver's License
• White / Blue Construction Card
