QA/QC Lead

KAEFER Integrated Services are currently looking for a QA/QC LEAD for a significant and long-term project based in South Australia.These roles will be FIFO working an 2:1 roster. POH any capital city in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaising as necessary with the Client Representatives
• Provide clear definitions, training, and guidance for all verification personnel
• Establish and maintain the requirements of the Management Plan
• Provide support, guidance and supervision of the Quality inspectors, Quality Officers and Document Control Personnel
• Maintain overall responsibility that all inspection, testing and verification activities are effectively completed as per requirements of the approved Inspection Test Plan
• Registration of all non-conformance reports or corrective action requests using prescribed forms
• Monitoring the effective corrective actions to ensure preventative reoccurrence of issue
• Development of ITPs and project inspection, testing and checklist documentation and controlling distribution of these
• Monitoring implementation of Project Quality Management Plan and Quality System
• Maintain records of project quality reviews, audit schedule and audit reports
• Be available for attendance on site for commencement of progressive on-site testing of works until the date of "Practical Completion' of the works
• Report on the progress of the works and inspect all works undertaken onsite
• Verify works undertaken meets the required acceptance criteria
• Provide guidance and support to work operatives and supervisors
• Registering and monitoring the disposition of non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions requests (CARs) to ensure agreed dates and targets are met

About You

• Demonstrated proficiency as a QA/QC Lead ideally having worked for a Contractor in mining, Oil & Gas or heavy industry and construction industries
• You resume will clearly outline your experience working in the construction industry (preferably mining), within a QA system (Procore/Aconex). It must outline your experience auditing a QMS System ISO 9001:2015 – APAC.
• Bachelor Mechanical Degree (or relevant) and a Cert IV in Project Management will be highly regarded
• Strong organisational ability with time management, attention to detail and problem solving capabilities
• Able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive and results oriented mindset, able to prioritize tasks effectively
