CNC Machine Operator

We are a leading steel fabrication company based in the Southeastern suburbs of Melbourne, and we are currently seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programming and editing CNC machines including Plasma, robotic arm beam line, and other related equipment.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and making necessary edits.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances using precision measuring tools.
  • Ensuring safe and efficient operation of machines in line with company standards.
  • Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator
  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machining principles.
  • Ability to program and edit CNC machines
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and the ability to modify programs accordingly
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Additional skills in MIG &TIG welding, metal fabrication is highly preferred.
