We are expanding our vocational training streams and seeking a Public Relations Officer to support our ongoing language learning business and the development of our new vocational training programs in Australia. This is a full-time position based in Victoria. Below are the requirements for the role.
Bachelor degree in Media or Professional Communication or above qualification
At least 8 years of working experience in public relations, preferably gained from sizable corporations or educational institutions.
Proven experience in hosting publicity events and planning and conducting impactful publicity campaigns and communication strategies.
Proficient in preparing news releases, write-ups, social media posts, video highlights and public speeches.
Experience in conducting public opinion research and preparing comprehensive reports.
Proficient writing skills in Chinese, with the ability to communicate in Cantonese as an advantage.
Understanding of Chinese-speaking markets, such as China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, etc. is a plus
Establish and implement publicity campaigns and communication strategies to promote the group's services and brand.
Collaborate with teachers, authors, writers, photographers, and graphic designers to prepare publications, including newsletters, press releases, press photos, promotional brochures, leaflets, video highlights and social media posts, to foster understanding and maintain a favourable view of our group among students, alumni and other key stakeholders.
Select and revise materials prepared by writers, photographers, students and key opinion leaders to generate favourable exposure of the Group.
Handle inquiries from the media.
Arrange media interviews and visits, and host visits from external partners, including representatives from schools, universities and professional associations in other countries, to enhance our public relations efforts and provide a comprehensive understanding of our services and centre.
Rrepresent the company at publicity events, including industry seminars, university and local school events, charity visits and social functions, to maintain strong relationships with local communities, government officials, universities, local schools, student associations, and families, thereby promoting our brand awareness
Conduct research on public opinions, report findings and advise management on public relations strategies.
