The opportunity

We're seeking a senior Workplace Relations Specialist to provide expert advice and drive best practice across all facets of workplace relations. A key part of this role will be to offer specialist advice, counsel and direction on case management to our Business Partners and be client centric in your approach to guide leaders and the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Deliver high-level guidance on employee and industrial relations case management, including complex investigations and dispute resolution.
  • Lead the development, review, and implementation of workplace policies and the Enterprise Agreement, ensuring compliance with legislative obligations.
  • Provide technical expertise and leadership throughout the full lifecycle of enterprise bargaining, including research, analysis, and stakeholder consultation.
  • Mentor and support People Experience and Health, Safety & Wellbeing Business Partners, championing quality outcomes and client-focused service delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including unions, legal representatives, and government networks.
  • Analyse workplace relations data, report on performance, and drive continuous improvement.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in workplace relations, industrial relations, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in enterprise agreement negotiations within a unionised environment.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and policy development skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex cases, mentor others, and influence positive organisational change.
  • Excellent time management, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and customer service.
