Job Description

We're searching for an enthusiastic and passionate Commis Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team at Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort in the beautiful Hunter Valley. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their culinary skills and be part of a supportive team delivering exceptional dining experiences.

What you'll be doing:

• Assisting senior chefs with food preparation and service across multiple outlets
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety
• Supporting menu execution with creativity and consistency
• Working as part of a collaborative team to deliver exceptional guest experiences

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

• Previous kitchen or culinary experience (preferred but not essential)
• A passion for food and a willingness to learn and grow
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
