Are you ready to bring your culinary skills to the rugged charm of regional NSW? Join us as a Line Chef at a mining accommodation site, where you'll be crafting hearty, high-quality meals for hardworking residents. From sizzling breakfasts to satisfying dinners, your cooking will fuel the day.

This dynamic role offers 10-hour shifts (day and night), on a 7 or 14-day swing roster. Travel to regional sites is essential - many are car-accessible only, so having your own transport is a big plus. Alternatively, FIFO options are available only from Sydney Airport. These are casual/temp roles with the chance to become part of the Hays Mining Facilities Services pool, opening doors to ongoing opportunities across NSW.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Solid experience in bulk cooking, hot breakfast buffets, hearty mains, and sweet desserts
  • Strong grasp of food safety and hygiene, with NSW Food Safety certification
  • Willing to work for 10-12-hour shifts, rotating between day and night
  • Sharp organisational and time management skills
  • Willingness to work on a 14-day swing roster and travel to regional locations
  • Immediate availability required and based in NSW
  • Prepared to complete a full medical and National Police Checks.
