This not-for-profit organisation is looking for an Accounts Officer to support the Finance Manager and wider finance team. It's a role that blends compliance and verification activities with hands-on accounting support, ideal for someone with an administrative or finance background who thrives on detail, accuracy, and variety.
No two days will look the same. You'll be working closely with colleagues across the organisation, answering queries, providing information, and making sure the numbers are right first time.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with compliance checks, reconciliations, and verification processes
- Support the Finance Manager and accountants with reporting and documentation
- Maintain accurate financial and administrative records
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries
- Help manage deadlines across multiple projects and priorities
- Provide administrative support to ensure smooth finance operations
