Sales Director – Collaborative Growth Leader
Alchemy Solutions is seeking a passionate, results-driven Sales Director to lead business development efforts in close collaboration with teams across the organisation. This role is pivotal in driving growth by identifying new opportunities, promoting our solutions, and fostering strong client relationships, while working together with services delivery teams, marketing, and leadership to ensure alignment and impact.
Key Responsibilities
Opportunity Identification & Conversion
- Proactively research and identify new business opportunities across Australia.
- Use CRM tools to track pipeline progress, forecast revenue, and share insights.
- Collaborate with service line leaders and executive team to qualify and convert leads into tangible opportunities.
- Seamlessly transition qualified opportunities to account leads and delivery teams for execution.
Cross-Business Collaboration
Partner with service line leaders to align business development efforts with capability development and delivery readiness.
Work closely with marketing to co-create campaigns, thought leadership, and lead generation assets.
Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure client needs are matched with the right solutions and expertise.
Facilitate regular cross-functional planning sessions to ensure strategic alignment and shared accountability.
Client Engagement & Relationship Building
Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers in client organisations.
Communicate the value of Alchemy's products, solutions, and services with clarity and impact.
Represent Alchemy Solutions at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Market Expansion & Strategic Growth
Develop and implement strategies to grow market share and brand awareness.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic direction.
Continuous Improvement & Feedback Loops
Regularly review business development processes and outcomes to identify areas for refinement.
Actively solicit feedback from clients and internal teams to improve engagement strategies and solution offerings.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in business development within the professional services sector.
Strong understanding of technology products and services.
Highly skilled at understanding and interpreting client requirements and recommending appropriate solutions through consultative selling.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and drive results.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
Willingness to travel within Australia as required.
