The Green Infrastructure Assets team plays a vital role in managing and enhancing the City of Gold Coast's living assets. About the role

We are seeking an experienced and creative Horticultural Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and delivery of high-quality green infrastructure projects across the City's most prominent and high-traffic areas, including Urban Precincts, Broadwater Parklands, the Village Heart, and Greenheart. This role will be responsible for managing complex horticultural projects with multiple stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of sustainable, functional, and visually appealing landscapes that reflect local character and cultural themes. Operating in challenging urban environments, the successful candidate will require advanced horticultural knowledge, project management expertise, and strong communication skills to navigate competing priorities and drive high standards. This position plays a critical role in shaping iconic public spaces that enhance city vibrancy, tourism, and community pride.

We're looking for people who have:

· Diploma in Horticulture or equivalent knowledge

· Diploma in Project Management or equivalent knowledge

· Drivers License Class C Unrestricted

· Local Government experience

· Positive mind set to problem solving
