About your new role


•    Providing high-level design and technical advice and recommendations for the development of Community Infrastructure capital projects within defined programs.

•    Ensuring provisions of all relevant legislation, regulations, agreements, standards, policies and processes are applied and adhered to in projects.

•    Liaise with internal and external stakeholders concerning the delivery of projects, their success and value for money, through a spirit of partnership.

•    Manage and attend PCG, Consultant and Service Owner meetings contributing as a subject matter expert on matters relating to capital projects across the portfolio as required, including any capital documentation that requires updating.

•    Develop and prepare project budgets, including the 4 and 10-year capital works program, in conjunction with other City staff by identifying project and budget requirements and restraints.

•    Track the financial performance of capital works projects to ensure cost-effective delivery.

•    Provide input in the development, implementation and management of the annual update of asset management plans, including renewal planning, technical levels of service, infrastructure risk management, operations and maintenance, and demand and budget requirements.

•    Evaluate asset and condition data and undertake renewal modelling to determine the optimum future renewal forecast funding requirements and organise field validation where required

•    Manage and develop all aspects of the project(s), including scoping documents, design briefs, feasibility studies, consultancy briefs, tender documentation and financials.

•    Utilise an established customer engagement model to ensure a high level of customer input and ownership

•    Ensure alignment and compliance with the defined project management methodologies, governance structures, processes, tools, reporting regimes and approaches.

•    Schedule meetings as required to provide an overview of the project's program to the relevant City staff

We're looking for people who have:


•    Bachelor's Degree in Project Management & or 

•    Extensive equivalent industry knowledge and experience
