Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer servicing major pharmaceutical and healthcare customers. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced and driven Key Accounts Leader to take ownership of commercial strategy and drive National growth.
Specific Accountabilities include:
- Lead and Manage Key Account Managers, providing coaching and strategic direction
- Ensuring strategic account planning is embedded across the team and that there is consistent structure to sales activity and planning activities
- Manage recruitment, training, talent management and succession planning for your team
- Ensure your team are meeting or exceeding strategic KPI's and business performance goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers and partners
- Support business development through market analysis and commercial modelling
- Deliver commercial and sales performance reports to senior leadership
- Drive continuous improvement in commercial and sales processes and systems
- Oversee contract negotiations, renewals and compliance
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks across projects and partnerships
To be successful in this position you will be a proactive and driven professional with demonstrated experience in driving strategic growth and leading high performing teams. Additionally you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in business sales, administration or a related discipline (ideal) or equivilant work experience in a similar position
- The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organisation
- The ability to deliver training that delivers quantifiable behaviour change and improved sales performance
- Significant experience in sales performance management and coaching
- The ability to provide practical solutions to sales challenges and barriers
- Experience and skills across MS Office as well as customer, logistics and/or financial management software including the ability to measure and report on performance and analyse data for decision making purposes
- Current drivers license
Any prior experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industries will be highly regarded.
