Qualifications & experience

  • Experience with Genie software essential
  • Minimum two years Medical Reception experience
  • Audio Typing experience an advantage

Tasks & responsibilities

  • General reception duties including meet and greet, attending to incoming phone calls and emails.
  • Organising patient appointments
  • Patient invoicing, collection of payment and Medicare claims
  • Administrative duties including file management, data entry, reviewing and actioning incoming referral and doctor letters, printing company documents
  • Medical transcription/audio typing
  • Ability to cope with multiple demands during busy times
  • Attention to detail and initiative.
  • Flexibility to work extra shifts as necessary to cover sick leave and holidays
