Since 2000, Norlift has been locally owned and operated, making us the leading Forklift and Material Handling specialists in Far North Queensland, including Cooktown and Weipa. Our services include Forklift Hire, Sales, Service, and Parts, and we take pride in delivering exceptional solutions to our clients.

As a key member of our Cairns team, you will play a critical role in supporting the high demand for Service & Repair work, and assisting in the preparation of Quotes for internal and retail clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented professional to contribute to the ongoing success of Norlift.

Your Responsibilities:

  • The first point of contact for all Service enquiries via phone, email, or face-to-face
  • Providing Estimates for Service & Repair works, for internal and retail clients
  • Maintaining inventory and stock control as required
  • Processing warranty claims through the dealer portal as required
  • Scheduling and coordinating preventative maintenance (PM) servicing and breakdown jobs, liaising with customers, contractors, and sites
  • Assisting with site-specific inductions for employees and vendors as required
  • Providing a high level of customer service
  • Supporting Norlift Field Service Technicians with parts, technical support, warranty information, and liaising between customers and suppliers when necessary

  • Previous experience in a similar role (preferred)
  • Basic mechanical knowledge (preferred)

  • A self-motivated team player with the ability to work under pressure
  • Reliability, punctuality, and honesty in all aspects of work
  • Ability to work in a mechanical environment and interact with mechanics, contractors, and customers effectively
  • Must be an Australian Permanent Resident
