Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef/Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items to venue standards
  • Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and OH&S regulations
  • Assist in stock control, ordering, and minimising food wastage
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams
  • Support the Head Chef (if applicable) with menu development and specials

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in a busy kitchen environment
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekend as required

Job Type: Casual

Pay: From $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 38 per week
