Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified cook with solid experience in Italian cuisine to join our team. The ideal candidate is confident with traditional Italian cooking techniques, thrives in a busy kitchen, and takes pride in producing high-quality dishes consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of Italian dishes including fresh pastas, seafood, risottos, and antipasti.
- Ensure consistency in presentation, portioning, and taste.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and adhere to food safety standards.
- Support daily prep and assist during peak service times.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Italian cuisine in a professional kitchen.
- Knowledge of Italian ingredients, preparation methods, and regional dishes.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
- Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills.
- A passion for great food and a commitment to high kitchen standards.
