ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our team supporting our long-term detailed and bulk earthworks, electrical services, infrastructure and construction scopes in Rockingham, WA. The role will be initially based at our Balcatta office and transitioning to Rockingham in February 2026.
As the Contracts Administrator, you will be responsible for responsible for managing contract administration processes, including progress claims, variations, and subcontractor management, while supporting the project team in achieving commercial objectives.
Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Deliver accurate and effective contract administration in line with company standards and project requirements.
- Prepare and process payment claims, vendor payment procedures, variations, and claims both to clients and from vendors.
- Support procurement processes, including vendor selection, negotiation, and management, in collaboration with the procurement and legal teams.
- Ensure health, safety, environmental, and quality considerations are integrated into programming and delivery of works.
- Build and maintain positive client relationships by understanding needs and responding in a timely, professional manner.
To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of Commercial requirements, contract management, subcontract management, cost control in the Engineering industry.
- Proven experience working on major projects, ideally with the main contractor.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (essential).
- Australian Defence background is desirable.
