The Role
This Service Centre Coordinator role is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated self-starter, who can multi-task, has great attention to detail, and who will thrive working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. We require an experienced administration person that can apply their knowledge to ensure we are providing our Service Centre team with the highest level of support.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2-3 years of service coordination experience to be considered for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing incoming jobs and supporting the flow of work through the workshop
- Managing and organisation of compliance documentation for the decontamination process
- Managing group Service Centre email and liaising with customers, project leads, sales personnel
- Expediting service centre purchase orders, ensuring delivery is within the required date.
- Oversee document control and project documentation
- Attend monthly workshop safety meetings and issue minutes accordingly
- Technician timesheet review and management
- Support administration function for the Field Service Team
- HSEQ and ISO compliance administrative support
- Manage, organise, and coordinate monthly facility inspections and corrective actions register
- Purchase workshop consumables, uniforms etc
- Provide internal support to the Service Centre team
- Contribute positively to continuous improvement initiatives and towards the achievement of company's operational objectives
About You
The role plays a vital part within the business, so your passion and experience in providing excellent customer service and administration is essential. Your success will come from your demonstrated experience working in a customer support, sales or a service coordinator environment and bringing a positive attitude and great work ethic.
Key requirements to be successful in the role:
- Experience in a similar role ideally in the mining or manufacturing industry
- Self-motivated, hands on with a focus on safety, quality, a high attention to detail and like getting things done
- Strong negotiation, communication and influencing skills with ability to take ownership
- Can plan, prioritise, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, particularly MS Word, Excel
- Hold a current Drivers licence
- Be an Australian Citizen or hold permanent Australian residency
- Be able to pass and undergo a pre-employment medical, including D&A
- Previous experience in industrial or technical environments is preferred but not essential for this role
