About the Role An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Facilities Officer to support the day-to-day management and operations of a TAFE NSW campus in Coffs Harbour. This full-time, on-site position plays a key role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and compliance of facilities and infrastructure.

This contract position offers the chance to work in a professional environment where your skills will directly support the smooth operation of an important education facility.

Contract Details

  • Location: Coffs Harbour NSW on campus full time
  • Hours: 7hrs/day 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
  • Contract Period: Until 26 December 2025
  • Rate: $67/hour + superannuation

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage general site maintenance and repairs
  • Monitor and report on the performance of building services
  • Liaise with trades and contractors to ensure timely resolution of facility issues
  • Maintain records and ensure compliance with WHS and asset management procedures
  • Support facility-related projects and routine site operations
  • Utilise facility management systems such as SAP, BMS, or CMMS

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a facilities, property, or site operations role
  • Familiarity with SAP, BMS, or CMMS systems (preferred)
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Understanding of WHS and building compliance requirements
  • Current Working with Children Check, National Police Check, and two references
  • Valid driver's licence
