Area Sales Representative

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Biesse Group Australia Pty Ltd team as an Area Sales Representative. Based in the vibrant city of Melbourne, VIC 3000, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth and success in the local market. As a full-time employee, you will be responsible for proactively engaging with potential clients, showcasing the company's innovative products and solutions, and securing new business opportunities.

What you'll be doing

• Actively prospect and generate new leads within your assigned territory
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of Biesse Group's offerings
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and their satisfaction is maximised
• Collaborate with the broader sales team to share best practices and contribute to the development of effective sales strategies
• Maintain accurate records and sales data, providing detailed reports on your activities and achievements
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor developments, and changes in customer needs to identify new opportunities
• Generate leads, develop a pipeline, and identify potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media.
• Qualify prospects by understanding their needs and requirements and provide them with relevant information about our products and services.
• Close sales deals by following up with prospects, negotiating terms, and finalizing contracts.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships with customers.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
• Work across the various divisions to optimise the customer experience and offerings for the customer.

What we're looking for

• Proven Experience within the Capital equipment preferably Wood Industry.
• Proven experience as a Sales Representative or similar role within the Sales Representatives/Consultants industry
• Strong sales and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with CRM software and sales processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
• Demonstrated problem-solving and negotiation abilities, with a customer-centric approach
• Passion for staying up to date with industry developments and new technologies
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience
