Avia Homes is a young dynamic team who is seeking a Talent Coordinator. We're looking for someone with a strong background in candidate sourcing who knows how to find and attract great people, with a positive can-do attitude.
About the role:
As our Talent Coordinator, your primary focus will be proactively sourcing top talent through a variety of platforms and channels. You'll play a key role in building talent pipelines, identifying strong candidates, and partnering closely with hiring managers to support our growing team.
Key responsibilities:
- Creating and posting job advertisements across all platforms.
- Proactively source candidates through a variety of channels, using creative search techniques and a strategic approach to talent attraction.
- Screening applications, shortlisting, and engaging with prospective candidates.
- Coordinating & assisting with interviews by Managing interview scheduling and diary coordination for hiring managers.
- Conducting reference checks and preparing candidate documentation
- Develop and maintain candidate pools to meet current and future hiring needs
- Partner with Managers to match candidates, forecast needs, shape recruitment strategies, and solve resourcing challenges.
- Deliver an engaging and professional process that reflects Avia Homes values and brand.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has:
- A minimum 1 year of experience in a recruitment coordination, sourcing, or talent acquisition role (agency or internal).
- Demonstrated experience in sourcing high quality candidates through proactive search techniques
- Knowledge of, or interest in the construction industry is an advantage
- Familiarity with online job advertising platforms
- Strong written skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – you connect easily with people.
- Highly organised, solution-focused, and driven by results.
