Position

Due to ongoing growth, the business is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business and manage key customer relationships across rural Queensland. This autonomous role will focus on identifying and developing opportunities through both direct sales and established distribution networks.

A strong livestock or agricultural background is essential, as this role requires an understanding of farm operations, regional industries, and customer needs.

Responsibilities will include:

* Building and maintaining relationships with existing corporate and channel customers.

* Developing new business opportunities across rural and regional Queensland.

* Managing the full sales process, from lead generation to close.

* Presenting products and solutions to customers, dealers, and industry groups.

* Attending regional events, field days, and industry shows to promote technology solutions.

* Reporting on customer feedback and market trends to support product development.

* Working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure high customer satisfaction and delivery standards.

Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a strong livestock or agricultural background and proven experience in business development or sales. Hands-on knowledge of regional industries, farm operations, and practical customer needs is essential.

Key attributes include:

* 2+ years' experience in B2B sales or business development.

* Proven understanding of livestock, agriculture, irrigation, or water management sectors.

* Experience selling through channel partners such as rural merchandise, pump, or irrigation dealers.

* Excellent communication and presentation skills.

* Self-motivated with the ability to manage a large regional territory.

* Competent in CRM, MS Office, and digital communication tools.
