Joining a diverse team that provides Agronomic, Real Estate, Livestock, Water Trading and Farm Supplies support to the local area, our Rural Products Sales Managers lead the Rural Products Sales operations within the Branch. As a strong leader, with demonstrated people management and merchandise operational skills, your commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and your expert product knowledge and customer service skills will enable you to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including finding new opportunities for them to explore. Supported by the Elders network, you will be provided with the tools necessary for you to grow in your career. Responsibilities As a leader within the branch, you will: Manage Sales and Inventory Performance including aged inventory, stock turns and debtor arrangements Play an active role in the community to build and maintain client relationships while proactively identifying new sale leads Nurture and grow the sales team to achieve targets, upskill capabilities and provide value add training with suppliers Provide exceptional customer service and advise on rural products while introducing new product lines Actively promote branch products, represent Elders in community events and campaigns About You To excel at Elders, you will have: Previous experience in a fast paced, customer focused inventory/ warehousing position Demonstrated experience in sales and business development (ideally rural products/ farm supplies) Current Forklift License and Agsafe accreditation (advantageous) Understanding of agriculture products, seasonal requirements, the region and our competitors Proficiency in using the Microsoft suite and operating POS systems Ability to work collaboratively within the branch and wider network while having a passion for encouraging change
