Senior Pharmacy Assistant

About the Role

As a Senior Pharmacy Assistant, you'll work closely with the Pharmacist-in-Charge and the wider retail team to deliver outstanding customer service and seamless pharmacy operations. You'll be a key member of our front-of-house team, supporting both retail and dispensary functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service and assist with OTC and holistic health product enquiries
  • Support daily pharmacy operations, including stock control and liaising with suppliers
  • Assist with merchandising, planograms, and maintaining store presentation standards
  • Manage administrative tasks such as rostering, stock reporting, and customer profile updates
  • Support the pharmacist in the dispensary, including script preparation and PBS claims
  • Complete ongoing online training and stay up to date with pharmacy procedures

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant (essential)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
  • Good organisational and problem-solving skills
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Certificate II or III in Community Pharmacy (desirable)
  • First Aid & CPR certification (desirable)
  • Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends

Hours & Employment Type
  • 30–38 hours per week (flexible on days, including weekends)
  • Full-time or part-time available for the right candidate
