Duties
  • Provide a wide range of specialised support activities for technology-based information and communication systems to facilitate their ongoing operation at the required level of performance through the timely resolution of Incident, Service Requests, Problem and Defect list tasks using ITIL practices.
  • Participate in the coordination and delivery of Change and Release activities, and hazard and service interruption notices for various technology systems in liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Undertake risk management assessments relevant to critical systems with respect to impact on system performance, technology configuration, contractual obligations and workflow processes to provide strategies to mitigate the assessed risks.
  • Undertake a range of activities associated with the identification, development and implementation of service improvement initiatives, that may include workflow processes, configuration of technology and service level management using a range of methodologies including project management activities as required.
  • Contribute to the ongoing life cycle support, management and development of systems, interfaces and business processes through user engagement, acceptance testing, system upgrades, and training activities
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with other team members and stakeholders who include information technology partners, user group representatives, internal support groups, and third-party vendors/service providers to assist with the development of specialist knowledge to maintain the required outcomes.
  • Contribute to the application of information security management arrangements, risk management practices, project activities and other initiatives that relate to operational systems.

  • Trafficking of narcotic substance;
  • False alarm raising.
Desirable Requirements
  • Suitable knowledge and experience with the support and management of a wide range of information and communication systems that include IP based networks, computing equipment, radio communications infrastructure, telephony and messaging systems.
  • Relevant tertiary or industry qualifications and or suitable experience in relevant roles.
  • Project management experience.
  • Current Drivers licence.
