About The Role
Due to continued growth and success, we are seeking a proactive and organised Administration/Legal Assistant to join our firm and support our commercial team of three. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your career in a law firm known for delivering value to clients and fostering a positive, supportive team culture. You'll play a key role in keeping things running smoothly in a fast-paced environment, with the chance to expand your skills across varied legal work. Some of your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing administrative support including scheduling and confirming meetings, managing inboxes, and preparing correspondence and documents
- Attending client meetings, taking minutes, and tracking action items
- Assisting with reporting and analysis
- Managing billing and invoicing tasks
- Maintaining client and referral records in the document management system
- Handling inbound and outbound calls
- Performing general administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, filing deeding and archiving
- Streamlining internal processes to improve efficiency
What we are looking for
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Proficient in MS Office and internet use
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional in dealing with clients
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management; able to prioritise and manage a varied workload
- Reliable, organised, adaptable, and eager to learn and develop
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Professional, discreet, and mature in approach
- Calm under pressure and confident in taking initiative
- Collaborative team player
- Prior legal experience will be highly regarded
