The Role: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality dining, a creative flair, and a commitment to maintaining the standards of Casa Luna. You will work closely within a team to develop and execute our menu and ensure kitchen operations run smoothly

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Leading the kitchen team in the Head Chef's absence.
  • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety.
  • Training and mentoring junior chefs and kitchen staff.
  • Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Ensuring all dishes are prepared to perfection and delivered on time.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a mid to high calibre restaurant.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative and passionate about food.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
