About the role

Reporting to the Managing Director and leading a team of sales executives, the mission of this position is to maintain the Company's revenue growth and achieve set revenue targets. This is a player/coach leadership position suited to a committed people manager with a passion for making their team the very best they can be.

Key tasks:

  • Devise and implement a media sales strategy which will result in hitting monthly and annual revenue targets;
  • Leadership - training & coaching, goal setting, motivating, performance reviews;
  • Key account management - presenting, negotiating, closing a set of clients;
  • Cross-functional team liaison to ensure smooth delivery of client campaigns and reports;
  • Represent the Company at industry events;
  • Report revenue results, forecasts and progress-to-target to senior management;

About the successful candidate

Skills & experience

  • Demonstrable track record of success in B2B media sales team leadership;
  • 7+ years media sales experience, 2+ years in a team leadership role, preferably in a B2B media environment;
  • Inspirational sales trainer with a deep understanding of sales techniques to motivate and improve results;
  • Strong presentation skills in client meetings and at industry events;
  • Technically literate, preferably Microsoft365 applications;
