The Role

A high-growth AI consultancy is scaling fast across enterprise markets, helping clients accelerate business outcomes through applied AI. Backed by strong investment and a proven delivery model, the firm combines consulting experience with an AI-native approach to transformation.

As Managing Director, you'll lead the next phase of growth — setting strategy, driving enterprise pursuits, and uniting a world-class leadership team behind one vision: to become the most trusted AI consultancy in the enterprise market.

You'll balance bold ambition with commercial discipline, converting opportunity into performance through leadership, relationships, and precision execution.

What You'll Do

  • Own and execute the firm's commercial growth strategy across key industries
  • Lead and coach senior leaders including
    Partners, Industry Directors, and the Head of Project Delivery
  • Personally engage in enterprise pursuits and business development - opening C-suite doors, negotiating major deals, and securing flagship wins
  • Drive expansion across verticals such as Financial Services, Insurance, Energy, and Retail
  • Strengthen alliances with hyperscalers and strategic technology partners
  • Represent the consultancy as a thought leader in the AI ecosystem and broader industry networks
  • Align executive leaders around clear outcomes and empower teams to deliver at pace
  • Partner with Marketing to elevate brand presence and market perception

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience leading a high-growth consulting or technology services business ($50M+ revenue)
  • Track record of driving $10M+ annual personal sales and leading teams beyond target
  • Strong enterprise network across Financial Services, Insurance, and Energy & Utilities
  • History of shaping and closing large-scale Data, AI, or transformation programs
  • Commercial fluency with strong negotiation and deal-structuring capability
  • Credibility and existing relationships across hyperscaler ecosystems (AWS, Microsoft, Google, Databricks, Snowflake)
  • Inspirational leadership style that builds accountability, collaboration, and pace across senior teams
