Are you ready to use your digital skills to help communities engage with the work of the Parliament of NSW? We are seeking a talented and passionate Digital Engagement Officer to develop content, coordinate digital campaigns and support the delivery of Parliament's community events. The Digital Engagement Officer creates and coordinates digital content across social media and online platforms, and supports the delivery of key programs, events and initiatives.

Based in NSW Parliament, the Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is a specialist service department working to support the operation of the Parliament of NSW by providing logistical support and advice to members, the Departments of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly and the people of New South Wales. Our office is found close to public transport in the heart of Macquarie Street CBD, next to the State Library and Sydney's Botanic Gardens.

About you:

You are an experienced digital communicator who can balance creative vision with practical delivery. You will bring:

  • A passion for multimedia storytelling and driving audience engagement
  • Proven experience in coordinating digital engagement campaigns and projects
  • Strong capability in managing social media and end-to-end multimedia content production
  • Knowledge of digital promotion and online marketing
  • Confidence in interpreting data and using digital tools for content creation, collaboration and analysis
  • Excellent organisation, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
