We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented  Senior Technical Business Analyst with expertise in data warehousing to join our data and analytics team.

This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical solutions, focusing on the design, development, and optimization of enterprise data warehouse systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake discovery and identify existing business problems that can benefit from technology.
  • Collaborate and liaise with multiple stakeholders including project and product owners, business stakeholders, technical analysts, IT delivery teams and consultants in the analysis and elicitation of requirements.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications for data warehouse solutions.
  • Analyse and optimise ETL processes and data flows.
  • Conduct gap analysis and identify opportunities for data warehouse improvements.
  • Support data governance, data quality, and metadata management initiatives.
  • Create and maintain documentation including data dictionaries, mapping documents, and process flows.
  • Team player who can work within a scrum team, quickly understand the solution architecture, create technical artifacts and support development of innovative integrated software solutions.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in data warehousing or BI environments.
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS Redshift).
  • Extensive experience engaging with high level stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge and application of industry best practice, principles and procedures used in business analysis and design.

Desirable

  • Experience with version control systems like Git or GitHub.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
