About the role…

The Data Delivery Leader will lead the delivery of innovative data products that drive measurable business value across our organisation. This role sits at the intersection of technology and business, requiring someone who can ensuring seamless delivery of various types of technical data products & projects. Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of data products by defining and executing the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring high-quality outcomes are technically feasibility, and aligned to strategic priorities
  • Collaborate with the Data Office team (BAs, Devs, Product) to define and understand functional and technical requirements for data product development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, data consumers, and executive leadership
  • Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and product demonstrations
  • Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and stay on top of AI & Data technological developments

About You:

You're a strategic and delivery-focused data leader who thrives at the intersection of business and technology. You'll bring the ability to translate vision into execution and drive measurable business value through innovation and insight. Additionally you will have most of the following:

  • 5+ years' experience managing complex data projects using agile methodologies
  • Experience working closely with Technology teams on data pipeline development and optimisation
  • Proven track record of managing relationships across multiple business units and technical teams up to the Executive level
  • Appreciation & technical understanding of data modelling, data quality, and modern data stack components
  • Platform experience with the following:

  • AWS Cloud Environments & core services

  • Working knowledge of Databricks & Fivetran for data processing & analytics
  • CI/CD Pipelines, Streaming & release management processes

  • Previous experience in Utilities/Energy (Desirable)

  • Certified Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent agile certification (Desirable)
