Role Overview
We're seeking an experienced
Construction Project Manager
to join our team - either in Sydney or Darwin - and lead the delivery of multiple buildings within a
major US Department of Defence project
in Darwin. This is a
career-defining opportunity
to manage a high-value and high-profile project, delivering complex, high-impact construction projects, ensuring every building meets
design excellence, tight deadlines, and budget targets
. You'll drive projects valued up to
$30 million
, playing a key role in shaping CC Pines' strategic success while setting the standard for
safety, quality, and sustainability
. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you'll
inspire and lead your team
, coordinate with stakeholders at every level, and ensure client satisfaction at every stage.
What You'll Do
- Take full ownership of project delivery, ensuring projects are on time, on budget, and exceed client expectations.
- Plan, schedule, and manage resources across engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- Manage project finances, contracts, and commercial obligations with a strong focus on cost control.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and legal standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing project team, fostering a collaborative and motivated environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support business development opportunities.
Skills and Experiences:
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in construction project management, including multidisciplinary projects.
- Strong commercial, contractual, and financial management skills.
- Proven experience in people management, client relations, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar.
- Construction White Card
Desirable:
- Advanced project management qualifications (Diploma, Master's, PMP).
- Experience managing projects valued at $10M+.
- Skills in process improvement and inventory control.
