Tamarix Poultry Farm is an Australian-owned and family-run business that supplies produce to numerous top food traders; from quality restaurants, cafés and bakeries, through to takeaway outlets and independent supermarkets.

We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Service/ Dispatch Administrator to join our team, based in Bangholme (Dandenong South). To be successful in this role, you will require strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, with the capacity to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Strong data entry skills and demonstrated experience using accounting software and Microsoft Office - in particular Excel, Word & Outlook is essential. Knowledge of logistics/distribution systems would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary customer contact for all inbound / outbound calls, emails and texts and providing end to end solutions to our clientele.
  • Ensuring customer orders are entered and communicated to the food production floor.
  • Coordinate delivery runs to ensure DIFOT is achieved and reconciling delivery runs after completion to ensure drivers have completed deliveries, invoiced and process payments correctly.
  • Following up sales quotations and new enquiries.
  • Carry out daily administrative tasks, including handling complaints and quality issues.
  • Take ownership of quality control and DIFOT tracking and report to Operations Manager.
  • Communicate appropriately with personnel from culturally diverse backgrounds.
  • Work collaboratively with shop staff, drivers, production facility and office administration team.
  • Bookkeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable and pay roll tasks as required.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, and working alongside Accounts Receivable & Payable, the Customer Service/Dispatch Administrator role supports a work-life balance, commencing at 8am until 12:00pm Monday to Friday. Additional hours are available in our General Retail Shop.
